Am I the only one who reads a post titled “5,493 things you need from Amazon RIGHT NOW” and purchases every single one of them? No? I didn’t think so.
Cooking is my favorite. If you haven’t figured that out yet, spend a bit of time here and you will discover it soon! I feel that cooking is made better by having the right kitchen tools to cook a good meal though, and sometimes those tools are gadgets that can be shipped directly to your front door with a little help from our friend, Amazon …
If you do not have this kitchen tool, you are wasting your time, or you are using pre-chopped garlic from a jar, TRUST ME, you are not doing your food any favors. Add to cart one of these bad boys and keep fresh garlic on hand always. You can thank me later.
If you are not making meatballs on a regular basis, it is time to start. Meatballs can be a snack, a meal, a topper to a salad … Meatballs are EVERYTHING. They can be made with ground beef, turkey, or chicken, or even made with a plant based protein for those of us who prefer an alternative. We eat meatballs all the time in our house, and this little kitchen tool makes prepping them a MILLION times easier.
For some reason, I did not have a potato smasher for the longest time and just recently purchased one. I feel like this is a kitchen tool staple, but this particular one can be used for multiple different smashing activities, including separating ground beef as you cook it. Multi-functional at a great price point!
We have a really nice, expensive knife block from our wedding registry that I never use. I always use the knife set my mom purchased for me from Sam’s Club that looks exactly like this. I guess those happy colors shout at me when I open the knife drawer and they get picked first!
I love a set of cutting boards. I like to pick a size based on what I need to chop for the meal, too. If I have a lot of items to chop up, I pick the bigger size and try to keep the different piles of chopped items right on the board. This avoids multiple prep bowls everywhere, and helps limit the clean-up time too!
Alright, babes – time to get cooking! What kitchen tools do you have to have in your kitchen to prepare a meal?
